Well the last month has been a busy one as I’ve organised all the details of my wedding in June. Leaving it late by most peoples standards I only found my Spanish designer Pronovias dress last week. The reception is being held at Retorrick Mill in St Mawgan and we are banking on it being good weather for the Hog Roast and BBQ we are puttting on. It will be decorated in a Country Vintage style with lots of pearls (found some beautiful twigs with pearls threaded on them to decorate columns / tables) and a muted palette of colours in light shades along with a rich burgundy carpet througout the marquee and barn (a girls got to tread the red carpet once in her life after all!!). So far I’ve started creating bunting by upcycling left over fabrics, bought lots of throws in duck egg and shades of brown and have found some gold table cloths. We have a friend of ours making the cake which is going to be a vintage style birdcage in chocolate! .

Just the flowers and photography to sort out now! Fingers crossed for sunshine that day…
